let the praise begin
after the merchandising of the new timbuk2 retail space,
the form3 crew was actually able to get some well-deserved
sleep and sit back and wait for the praise to come through...
while we're waiting, we'd like to thank don at gb iron, greg
and kimberly at miller powder coating, rick, joe and barney
at mt. storm, recor at van bebber metal, deanna, dave and
eric at duracite counters, tina marie at golden west and the
entire team at regal plastics and, of course, dan at the cnc shop.
we couldn't do any of our work without your knowledge and
support.

the devil is in the details
the attention to detail is one of the major aesthetic components
that define the work of form3.
this project was no different.
we would be remiss in not showing some of the original industrial
design of the timbuk2 retail space.
custom made with flexibilty in mind, they work in perfect unison
with the amazing custom bags you'll find throughout the store.

the tight fit
after a couple days of the hard work during installation on
the timbuk2 project, we saw the fruits of our labor begin to
pay off.
bryan, jared, miguel, jose, roberto and greg delivered the
interior installation (ready for final touches and the merchandising
phase) in a brief two and a half day period.
an enormous amount of work fit in to a tight window.
this may be a record for the form3 crew.
well done.
more pics tomorrow.

til the breaka dawn
the photographer for timbuk2, aaron, was kind enough to
document the installation process and sent a few images our
way over the weekend.
these shots are from our first night.
unloading, reworking the track lighting areas and painting.
a glamorous way to spend any evening.
the form3 crew kept it going through the night to get a leg up
on the week...and it paid off.
more pics tomorrow....

killing it softly
late monday night, the form3 crew descended upon 506
hayes street, san francisco, in order to get the ball rolling
on the timbuk2 retail space.
knowing we only had 3 days to turn the store around, we
loaded everything from the welder, cabinetmaker, powder-
coaters, signmakers and countertop specialists into one
20 foot truck and headed south.
needless to say, we had some long days and longer nights
this past week in an effort to deliver on our promise that
timbuk2 retail would be open for business by noon thursday.
thanks to bryan, jared, deanna, bonnie, miguel, roberto,
jose and greg...we pulled it off.
more pics to come in the next couple days.
