martin schoeller's iconic images of female bodybuilders
were not what i was going to blog about this morning,
but the harsh veracity of the images are so compelling
that i could not stop myself.
the line between constructing an ideal image of self yet
creating an image that becomes freakish to the majority
is the strength of these images and keeps me staring, and
staring, and staring...
