don ervin, 1925-2010

don ervin, whose graphic design work stands out as some
of the best of the past century, died in a car accident march
10th. although he is not necessarily known by name, his
work has been in our collective consciousness for decades.

this poster was done for herman miller, where he was director
of graphic design early in his career.
