we've all heard the story at some point in time about the fact the
mcdonald's happy meal that defies decomposition.
these images by photographer sally davies came about when she
mentioned to a friend that she had heard of a happy meal that,
for twelve years, had done just that.
her friend's advice?
don't believe everything she read.
she decided to find out for herself.
the images show the lack of change in this meal over a six month period:
no mold, no rot, no smell, just a plasticized sheen.
it's called a happy meal for good reason.
mcdonald's = awesome!
