anyone who follows basketball even casually knows the
importance and accomplishments of this man. he imparted
not only wisdom concerning the game to his players, but
wisdom concerning life. he stressed the critical importance
of teamwork in order to achieve goals on his way to record
a lifetime winning percentage of .808. known as a mild
mannered, thoughtful, considerate person, he was a true
legend in every respect.
